Puptacular K9 is proud to offer Lima compliant training methods. Focusing on motivational training methods, Nina has competed and won many ribbons with multiple dogs in Rally-Obedience and has worked dogs in various ventures and dog sports including K9 Search and Rescue, agility, dock diving, scent work, protection, and service dog training. We have also attended classes and seminars for other dog sports such as IPG, hunting, sled dogs, flyball, scent detection and SAR. We do this all with motivational based training techniques with minimal to no aversive methods. Being LIMA compliant we focus on a motivational approach to both training and behaviour modification. We are professional members of The American Pet Dog Trainers Association. Nina has apprenticed with some of the best CPDT-KA trainers in Canada and is now working towards her very own certification with the CPDT KA. We are looking forward to helping you with your dog training needs.
Puppy Kindergarten ~ 6 weeks ~ 260$
Our puppy kindergarten classes are tailored to dogs who are between the ages of 10 weeks to 8 months. We focus on basic obedience and offer solutions to common problematic puppy behaviours such as nipping and chewing. We believe that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and we will help you get your puppy started off on the right foot! Kindergarten classes are held out in the community so that you can teach your puppy the basics from the very beginning in a real life environment. Each session is about one hour long and provides opportunities for healthy and controlled socialization
Puppy Kindergarten Classes include one free orientation session.
our basic obedience curriculum includes teaching you how to train your puppy to do the following:
-Focus / Attention -Target training
-Sit -Loose leash walk
-Down -Sit for greetings
-Stay -Recall
-Off / Leave it -Touching and handling
Private Classes ~ One hour ~ $50
4 Lesson package - 180$
Our private lessons are individually taylored to your pets specific needs. Whether your pup needs work with leash pulling, help with reactivity, or you're looking for more advanced training such as service dog prep training, we're here to help.

We will work with rescues at very reasonable rates to evaluate dogs for placement or to help with behavioural concerns.
Virtual Classes ~ 30 minute Session ~ $25
Our virtual classes are for those who have a busy schedule and have already attended in person classes. These classes are available for troubleshooting, touching up on training before an event, test, or competition; or for basic training needs that can be accomplished with a virtual session. Sessions are typically about 30 minutes in length but may vary according to client needs. While we do consults and training for reactive dogs, we do have conditions that must be met to promote a safe environment for you, ourselves, and most importantly your dog. We will not work on dogs exhibiting dangerous behaviours via virtual sessions. These types of cases are always in-person only.
